MIll Hill theme

You may notice a theme here today-I love Mill Hill's kits and each year I want to put these sets together as one picture or as a grouping-will post the newest Halloween and Christmas ornament kits next-but aren't they adorable?? I especially love the kitty ones and the houses for Christmas ( yes, I collect Dept 56 houses too!! )....Hope you're having a great day-we had a visit yesterday with a customer that brought us a huge bag of green beans from her garden (YUM) and today from our dear friend, Joan-she brought us a hoagie lunch from Capriotti's-she is too kind! The best part was we got to sit and chat with her-she is an inspiration to all of us! More tomorrow--Molly

Back from OBX !!

Greetings to all from lovely Glen Mills-it is sooooo good to be back-had a great trip to OBX (if you've never been-GO)...The trip was good, the company fantastic-but I am never so happy as at home with my dogs and in my routine. Call me crazy-go ahead. I love the beach and someday want to live close to it but for now, I'm content in Humidland!!

Some new items had arrived since my departure--Homespun Elegance, Blackbird, Val's, Monsterbubbles, and By the Bay to name a few...and the Shepherd's Bush kits arrived (finally!) today and I'm loving the Finch Song one-to my pile it must go!!

Hope you all have been well--I did a little stitching while I was away but time didn't permit me to do more-now that I'm home.....:)

Take care and enjoy your stitching and your summer-more tomorrow!! Molly

Nora Corbett's Letters

If you haven't seen Nora Corbett's letters and fairies....these are the "P", "Q" and "R"..... www.hoffmandis.com and http://www.wichelt.com/ have the other letters as well. We have many customers stitching these-Nora has used Crescent Colors, beads and a few #4 braids to create stunning designs. Each one is pretty individually or could be done as a grouping. One of our customers is doing an initial for each granddaughter....a treasure.

Still waiting on the Prairie Santa for 2009 and for more information on the special stocking book that Blackbird is releasing for Halloween-this will be a book of thirteen miniature stockings similar to their monthly books they have released since January.
